Golden Sands is perfectly located for your whānau to thrive in an environment with a sense of belonging to grow socially and creatively.

Embracing the future

Rich, imaginative play in a supportive, inclusive environment is a strong base for children to learn care and empathy.

Our Future Focus team in the heart of Golden Sands is a place to belong for all whānau. We welcome culture and diversity, encouraging children’s curiosity as they freely explore, question, and wonder. By sharing language, stories, food, dance, music, and different ways of celebrating we support the active learning of all children.

Enrolment Fees

Our fee structure and additional fees outside of the 20 ECE Hours contributes to us having high quality teaching staff with ratios that support quality learning.
It also adds to features of convenience including healthy snacks and lunches, nappies for those still using them and ample resources to support learning outcomes. Our fees are set at a weekly rate based off 52 weeks of the year that already accounts for public holidays therefore there is no discount during stat days. We offer a sibling discount of 10% on the oldest child’s fees. Future Focus review their fee structure annually and any changes to our fees will be made in January of each year.

20 ECE hours

Future Focus participates in the Government’s “20 Hours ECE” scheme for children over 3 years of age. Parents and guardians are required to complete an attestation form stating the days and hours (up to 6 hours per day, 20 hours per week) if they want to participate in this scheme through Future Focus. Fees will be charged for the portion of hours not covered by the provision of the 20 hours ECE, which allows us to provide your child with features of convenience such as lunch, snacks, and nappies.

Minimum Enrolment

Future Focus has a minimum enrolment required per child of 2 days per week, 6.5 hours each day. This will support your child with settling in and becoming familiar and comfortable with our teachers and environment.

Meet our Centre Leader

Get to Know Rosie

“Tēnā koutou. I’m Rosie the centre leader here at Future Focus Pap Beach. I grew up here in the beautiful Bay of Plenty but have recently returned after enjoying the slower pace of the South Island. When I’m not at work I love being with my family, going to the beach, or working on a DIY project. I love building relationships, developing a sense of connection and community. I am passionate about inspiring and mentoring others with the tamariki at the centre of all I do.”
