Easy Chicken & Rice Stir Fry

Check out this super quick and easy chicken and rice stir fry recipe from Chef Ash. Our Livingstone Drive tamariki LOVE this dish and its perfect for a busy week night!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 x Chicken Breast (diced)
  • 1 x Bag of frozen asian vege mix
  • 2 x Teriyaki sauce (GF)
  • 3 x Cups rice

METHOD

  • Cut chicken and marinate in one of the teriyaki sauce packets. Leave for 1hr (desireable but not a must if pressed for time).
  • Cook chicken in frying pan until lightly browned.
  • Add frozen vege mix and the remaining sauce packet.
  • Add 1/2 cup of water and let vege cook out and sauce thicken.
  • Cook rice as per packet instructions.
  • Check the chicken is cooked!
  • Serve stir fry mix ontop of steamed rice and enjoy!
