Future Focus participates in the Government’s “20 Hours ECE” scheme for children over 3 years of age. Parents and guardians are required to complete an attestation form stating the days and hours (up to 6 hours per day, 20 hours per week) if they want to participate in this scheme through Future Focus. Fees will be charged for the portion of hours not covered by the provision of the 20 hours ECE.
Our fee structure and additional fees outside of the 20 ECE hours contributes to us having high-quality teaching staff with excellent teacher-to-child ratios, offer convenient services such as healthy snacks, lunches, and nappies for younger children, and provide ample learning resources to support strong educational outcomes.
Fees are calculated on a weekly rate based on 52 weeks per year and include public holidays. As such, there are no fee reductions for statutory holidays.
Fresh, chef-prepared meals and snacks are provided daily to keep little tummies full and minds energised.
We supply nappies for children who need them, making things easier for busy parents and caregivers.
Our high teacher-to-child ratios mean more individual attention and stronger bonds with each child.
Quality resources and creative supplies are always on hand to spark curiosity and support learning through play.

Stepping into the role of Centre Leader at Future Focus Papamoa Beach has been both an honour and an exciting new chapter for me. I’m proud to be part of a centre where strong relationships, authentic connection, and the voices of our tamariki and whānau guide everything we do. Leading this incredible team means nurturing a culture where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
Originally from England, I made Aotearoa home ten years ago. I’m a proud mum of two and a big believer in the power of relationships – both in and out of the centre. Outside of mahi, you’ll find me surrounded by whānau and close friends, usually gathered around good kai, sharing laughs and making memories.

I love how much they use Te Reo Maori at Future Focus. I always wanted my son to be surrounded by Te Reo and it conforts me to know that his culture is supported and celebrate here at Future Focus.

When moving back to Pāpāmoa, I started looking for Kindergartens for my daughter. We only went to three places, and we chose this Future Focus over the others as they put in effort to talk to my daughter, not just to me.
Future Focus feels like they are apart of our extended family. My daugter will come home and talk about the teacher and its so comforting to know that she is well looked after here.
