Oat & Date Slice
This super easy date and oat slice was a big hit with our Bach tamariki. Quick to whip up under time pressure and a great healthy choice!
- 2 cups dates – roughly chopped
- 2 cups oats
- 2 tbspn honey
- 1 tbspn vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup water
- Place a pot on the stove on medium heat and add dates and water. Stiring until you achieve a thick conistency.
- Add all other ingredients and stir until well combined (add more water add required if the mixture is too thick).
- Pour mixture into a slice tray of choice and leave to set. You can place it in the fridge to set if you’re looking for a harder consistency.
